Delft-WAVES

numerical wave modelling system for coasts, harbours, structures and ships

The Delft-WAVES system consists of the spectral wave model SWAN which is a model of the Delft university of Technology (including a package for statistical analysis of results for wave climate studies in coastal regions), the mild-slope equation model PHAROS (for wave short and long wave propagation in harbour regions), the volume-of-fluid Navier-Stokes model SKYLLA (for wave interaction with coastal structures) and the time-domain Boussinesq model TRITON (for applications in coastal and harbour regions). All modules are being applied in both research and consultancy projects.
