water quality & ecology
|
The environmental management section of Deltares provides state-of-the-art knowledge to solve your problems related to water pollution and ecological degradation in fresh water systems and wetlands. Our approach is to apply in-depth knowledge of chemical and ecological processes in combination with the knowledge of hydraulic and morphologic processes to support water managers world-wide to analyse problems, to find solutions and to assess the effectiveness of proposed solutions. Management information systems (MIS), decision support systems (DSS), geographic information systems (GIS), combined with water quality and ecological models are important tools in our consultancy and research activities.
